Cerena Ann Johnson entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 with experience in modelling, pageantry and marketing. Based in Dubai for much of her life, she had built a professional career outside entertainment while also competing in beauty pageants.
Her pageant background included reaching the Top 50 of Miss Universe UAE in 2021 and competing in Miss Queen Kerala 2022, where she received the Miss Photogenic title.
Cerena joined Season 5 as an original contestant and remained in the house for almost the entire competition. She became House Captain, took part in the secret-room twist and performed strongly during the Ticket to Finale phase.
