Biography
Aiswarya Suresh, better known as Lachu, worked across acting, dance and modelling before entering Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5. Her screen credits include Safe and the Malayalam film Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam.
The latter became especially notable after winning the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam. Lachu's later credits have also included the Tamil film Iraivan and the Malayalam film Nadikar.
She joined Bigg Boss as part of the original Season 5 cast. Her time in the house ended during the fifth week when she left the competition before its normal conclusion rather than through a regular eviction.
The show expanded her visibility beyond film, dance and modelling audiences, while Lachu remained the professional name most closely associated with her screen work.
