Vinoth Babu

Vinoth Babu’s television career began behind a microphone rather than in a serial. He started working as a video jockey and presenter around 2014, including work with Adithya TV, before making the transition into acting.

His acting debut came with Sivagami in 2018. He later gained wider recognition through Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum and then took on the lead role of Vetriselvan in Vijay TV’s Thendral Vandhu Ennai Thodum, one of the projects most closely associated with his public image.

Vinoth has also participated in unscripted television before Bigg Boss. He and his wife Hemalatha Sindhu won Mr & Mrs Chinnathirai Season 2, and he later expanded into cinema with Finder Project 1.

He entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 on 6 September 2026 with experience in presenting, serial acting and reality television. That background gives him familiarity with cameras, but the continuous social pressure of the Bigg Boss house is a different challenge from his earlier structured programmes.
