Black Pandi

Lingeswaran, widely known by the screen name Black Pandi, has been part of Tamil entertainment since childhood and early supporting-film appearances. His strongest breakthrough with television audiences came through the Star Vijay serial Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, where his character Pandi became so closely associated with him that the name followed him professionally.

He later expanded his work into cinema and reality television. Angadi Theru in 2010 became an important film credit, while his wider filmography includes supporting and comedy roles across Tamil cinema, including Jilla. He also competed on Jodi Number One Season 3 and has worked in both television and films for many years.

Black Pandi married Padmini in 2013. Away from individual roles, his public image has largely been built around energetic comedy and a recognisable speaking style, making him one of the more familiar entertainment personalities in the Season 10 cast.

He entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 as an original celebrity housemate on the 6 September 2026 grand launch, adding a long-established television-and-film presence to a season that also includes creators, commoners and newer actors.
