Asmitha Neelamegam

Asmitha Neelamegam has had an unusually varied career spanning television, acting, advertising and the beauty industry. She began appearing on screen at a young age, including anchoring work, and later acted in Tamil films such as Karungali. Her early career also included commercial work for brands including Pothys and Aavin.

After her acting phase, Asmitha redirected her career toward professional makeup. She built Asmitha Makeover Artistry and developed a bridal-makeup training business in Chennai, with her academy operating from Saligramam. Public profiles describe thousands of students passing through her training programmes, turning makeup artistry from a career change into the centre of her professional identity.

Asmitha is married to Shri Vishnu NP and is a mother of three. She and her husband have also appeared together in screen content, including the music video Kangana and the Curious Wife.

At the Bigg Boss Tamil 10 grand premiere, Asmitha faced a three-way audience selection with model-actress Muthazhagi and yoga specialist Kavitha Mohan. Muthazhagi and Asmitha secured entry into the house, making Bigg Boss her return to a high-visibility unscripted television environment.
