Chandini Tamilarasan

Chandini Tamilarasan grew up in Nungambakkam, Chennai, and studied Visual Communication at Ethiraj College for Women. She had already experimented with public-facing competition through the Miss Chennai 2007 pageant before acting became her full-time profession.

Her film career began with K. Bhagyaraj’s Siddhu +2 in 2010, opposite Shanthanu Bhagyaraj. She later worked across Tamil and Telugu cinema in films including Naan Rajavaga Pogiren, Vil Ambu, Kavan, Mannar Vagaiyara and Raja Ranguski. At one stage she stepped back from offers to finish her degree, then returned to acting after completing her studies.

Chandini also moved into television, appearing in serials such as Thaazhampoo and Rettai Roja, giving her a second audience beyond cinema. She married choreographer Nandha in December 2018 and continued acting after marriage.

By the time she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 on 6 September 2026, Chandini had more than a decade of screen experience. Her participation places a long-established film-and-television performer into an unscripted setting where viewers see her without a written character.
