Sreeraj KS, popularly known as Kadal Komban, is a fisherman, YouTuber, vlogger and digital creator from North Paravur who entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8. His rise is closely connected with Kerala's fishing community and differs from creators whose channels were built mainly around studio entertainment or lifestyle content.

Sreeraj began fishing at a young age after his father's illness placed financial pressure on the family. That experience gave him first-hand familiarity with the work, risks and everyday life of coastal communities. During the COVID-19 period, he started recording parts of his fishing life and publishing the videos online.

The videos began receiving a wider response, encouraging him to build the YouTube identity Kadal Komban, a name reportedly suggested by his father.
