Jaseela Parveen

Jaseela Parveen is an actress, model and media personality from Coorg who became familiar to Malayalam audiences through television serials and entertainment programmes before entering Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8.

Jaseela began her media journey as an anchor on a local channel and was also associated with children's programming on All India Radio. Before acting became her primary public identity, she worked outside the entertainment industry as well, including a period with a telecom company. Her move into serials therefore came after experience in both presenting and regular employment.

She made her television acting debut with Thenum Vayambum, where her character Sreya Chacko gained attention. Jaseela later became known for strong and often negative-shaded roles in serials including Daya, Sumangali Bhava, Alliyambal and Anuraga Ganam Pole. Her appearances on Star Magic further increased her visibility beyond scripted serials.

Jaseela has also appeared in films and is publicly associated with fitness, sports and travel interests. Her screen image often combines glamour with an assertive personality, which helped make her a recognisable choice for a reality-show format.

She entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 during the September 6, 2026 premiere. Inside the house, the focus shifts from the characters she plays on television to her own communication style, relationships and responses to tasks and conflict.
