Raaghav Ranganathan

Venkataraghavan Ranganathan, better known as Raaghav, has moved through several very different careers. Before becoming a familiar entertainment personality, he trained as an engineer, earned academic recognition in Chennai and later pursued an M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He also worked in software before shifting his focus toward media.

Raaghav’s entertainment journey began through music and television. He worked as a composer, hosted music programmes and appeared on reality shows such as Jodi Number One and Maanada Mayilada. His partnership with Preetha extended beyond television; the pair later married.

In cinema, Nanjupuram became a defining project because Raaghav took on a lead role and was also closely involved creatively. His broader credits include appearances in films such as Enthiran, Velayudham and V, while Ticket added writing and directing to his profile.

Raaghav entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 on 6 September 2026 with far more reality-show and media experience than many newer contestants. The difference this time is that Bigg Boss places his personal reactions and relationships at the centre rather than a performance, hosting assignment or scripted role.
