Biography
Prashanth Rangaswamy built his public profile through Tamil cinema commentary rather than traditional television. Using the online identity ItisPrashanth, and widely associated with the “Review Volcano” label, he developed an audience through movie reviews, reactions and outspoken opinions about Tamil films.
His digital visibility later translated into acting opportunities. Film databases credit him in Dikkiloona as Pappu, followed by appearances in projects including Maaran, FIR, Mark Antony, Naai Sekar Returns and the 2026 film LIK: Love Insurance Kompany. He was born on 28 April 1985.
Prashanth reached the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 grand-premiere stage on 6 September 2026. He appeared in an audience-selection group with Germany-based creator Prithivinath and model Javeed Sherif. The audience sent Prithivinath and Javeed into the house, while Prashanth was marked Not Selected.
