Sreelaya Jose

Sreelaya, born Laya Jose, is an Indian actress who works mainly in Malayalam television and entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8. A native of Kannur, she comes from a family with links to the entertainment industry and was already familiar to serial audiences before joining the reality show.

Sreelaya is the daughter of Jose and actress Lissy Jose, and actress Sruthi Lakshmi is her sister. She began acting in the 2010s and became particularly known for Malayalam television roles. Her work includes serials such as Moonnumani, where the character Kuttimani became one of her recognisable roles, along with appearances in other family dramas and television productions.

She is also associated with dance, adding a performance background beyond acting. Over the years, television gave Sreelaya a public image built mainly through scripted characters, where dialogue and story are determined by a production team.

Her entry into Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 in September 2026 places her in a very different format. Instead of portraying a character, Sreelaya is judged by viewers through daily behaviour, tasks, friendships, disagreements and decisions inside the house.

Reliable public sources provide information about her acting career and family background, but detailed academic qualifications are not consistently documented. This profile therefore avoids adding an education claim without a strong source and focuses on her established television career and Season 8 participation.
