Rajith Kumar is a lecturer, public speaker and writer from Kerala whose Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 run ended in removal after a task incident involving Reshma Rajan.
Biography
Rajith Kumar came to Bigg Boss from an academic and public-speaking background. His studies were centred on Botany and related sciences, and his professional career included teaching and work in higher education.
He also became known through public talks and books on self-development, spirituality and related themes. Before Bigg Boss, some of his comments on women, gender and social behaviour had drawn criticism and media attention, making him a controversial public speaker even before reality television.
Rajith entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 as an original contestant and became one of its most discussed housemates. His run ended after a task in which he applied chilli paste near fellow contestant Reshma Rajan's eyes.
He was first removed from the main house while the incident was reviewed and was later permanently taken out of the competition. His exit was disciplinary rather than a public-vote eviction.
