Amritha Suresh
Short Introduction
Amritha Suresh is a singer, composer and songwriter who rose to prominence through Idea Star Singer and later entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 with her sister Abhirami.
Biography
Amritha Suresh first reached a wide television audience through Idea Star Singer Season 2. That appearance became an important early step in a career that later included playback singing, independent music and live performance.
In 2014, she founded the band Amrutam Gamay. Her sister Abhirami Suresh later joined her as a lead vocalist, and the pair also expanded into digital content through their shared YouTube channel.
Amritha entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 on Day 50 with Abhirami as a joint wildcard entry. The sisters competed together rather than as two separate individual contestants.
The season was discontinued in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 situation, so Amritha's Bigg Boss run did not conclude through a standard eviction or finalist ranking. She later continued with music, radio, live shows and independent releases.
