Sandhya Manoj

Sandhya Manoj's professional life has been closely tied to classical dance and yoga. She began learning Indian classical dance when she was young, with early training that included Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam.

After moving to Malaysia, she developed a deeper interest in Odissi and later travelled to Odisha for further training under guru Durga Charan Ranbir. She went on to perform and teach the form in Malaysia and at cultural events elsewhere.

Yoga also became an important part of her work, complementing her dance practice and teaching. That background made her one of Season 3's contestants whose career was rooted in classical performance rather than mainstream screen entertainment.

Sandhya entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 as an original contestant and spent 71 days in the house before eviction. The programme introduced her dance and yoga career to a much broader television audience.
