Manikuttan James

Manikuttan, whose name is Thomas James, became familiar to Malayalam audiences through television before establishing a broader film career. His breakthrough role came as the title character in the serial Kayamkulam Kochunni.

He later moved into Malayalam cinema and appeared in films across supporting and character roles. By the time he entered Bigg Boss, he had already spent years working as an actor rather than arriving as a newcomer to television.

Manikuttan joined Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 as an original contestant. His journey included both strong competitive phases and a temporary voluntary exit before he returned to the programme.

Season 3 production was eventually suspended because of COVID-19 restrictions, with the final result decided later. At the grand finale, Manikuttan was declared the winner, with Sai Vishnu finishing as runner-up.
