Ram Prasad, popularly known as Auto Ram Prasad, is a Telugu comedian, actor and comedy writer from Visakhapatnam. He is best known for his long association with Jabardasth and for a rapid-fire punch-line style that helped create the “Auto” nickname.
Ram Prasad appeared in the 2009 film Josh early in his screen career. When acting opportunities did not immediately develop, he returned to Visakhapatnam and spent a period working in the medical-wholesale business before making another attempt in entertainment.
His major turning point came through Jabardasth. He initially returned to Hyderabad as a scriptwriter for Dhanadhan Dhanraj's team and later became a performer. His combination with Sudigali Sudheer and Getup Srinu became particularly popular, while Ram Prasad also continued contributing ideas, dialogue and comedy writing behind the performances.
He entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 on 6 September 2026 as a direct celebrity contestant. The format gives audiences a chance to see him outside prepared comedy sketches and scripted punch lines.
