Mahhi Vij

Mahhi Vij is an Indian television actress and former model from New Delhi who has worked in Hindi entertainment for more than two decades. She moved to Mumbai early in her career, worked in modelling and music videos and gradually established herself as a television performer.

Her breakthrough came with the role of Nakusha in Laagi Tujhse Lagan, a performance that made her one of the recognisable faces of Colors television. She later appeared in Balika Vadhu and several reality formats. Mahhi and Jay Bhanushali won Nach Baliye 5, and she also competed in programmes including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. After a long gap from daily fiction, she returned to scripted television before taking up Bigg Boss 20.

Mahhi entered Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 after having declined or avoided the format at earlier points in her career. Around the premiere, she said she was not joining simply to restart an acting career but because she felt the timing was right for a different professional experience. Her recent separation from Jay Bhanushali generated public interest, but Mahhi stated that she did not intend to turn private separation details into a house storyline.

She is a confirmed original Week 1 contestant. Her earlier reality-TV wins and television roles are historical facts; her Bigg Boss nominations, captaincy and final placement must remain live fields until the season develops.
