Aasif Khan is an Indian actor from Rajasthan who built his career through theatre, casting work, films and streaming series before entering Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20. His journey became widely discussed because it was not an overnight move into acting: after facing financial difficulty and personal setbacks, he took on ordinary jobs while trying to create a route into the entertainment industry.

He later developed his craft through theatre and behind-the-scenes industry experience, gradually moving into acting roles. Aasif became especially familiar to streaming audiences through projects such as Mirzapur, Paatal Lok and Panchayat.
