Zulfi Syed, born Zulfikar Syed on August 26, 1976, is a prominent Indian model, actor, and DJ who originated from Bengaluru, Karnataka. Growing up in Bengaluru to a family from Kodagu, he pursued a professional education in the hospitality sector, earning a bachelor’s degree in hotel management. His entry into the public eye was marked by his striking physical presence and "chocolate boy" looks, which quickly made him a favorite in the Indian fashion industry during the late 1990s.
His career reached a major turning point in 1996 when he won the Gladrags Manhunt Contest, a victory that propelled him into high-profile modeling. He became a staple of Indian television commercials and print media, featuring in iconic ad campaigns for major brands such as Raymond’s, Levi's, Fiesta, and Tata Indica.
