Tanushree Roy Das is an entrepreneur, boutique owner and digital creator from Jalpaiguri. Unlike many Season 3 contestants, her primary pre-Bigg Boss identity was built through business and social media rather than acting or professional entertainment.

Tanushree has publicly spoken about marrying at the age of 16 and taking on family responsibilities early. She later completed her education and began selling sarees, blouses, kurtas and other clothing through social media while raising her daughter.

That online selling activity developed into a larger clothing business, and she opened a boutique in Jalpaiguri with her sister. Her confident sales style and direct-to-camera social media presence helped turn a local business identity into a wider digital following.

Tanushree entered Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 on 30 August 2026 as an original launch contestant. During the opening days she became one of the first housemates to openly challenge captain Bharat Kaul's leadership, making her direct communication style visible inside the game as well.
