Sohini Paul

Sohini Paul, also credited as Sohini Pal, is an Indian film and television actress from Kolkata. She is the daughter of late Bengali actor and politician Tapas Paul and Nandini Paul, but she developed a screen career of her own across Bengali cinema and Hindi television.

Sohini was a student of Lakshmipat Singhania Academy and entered films at a young age. Her screen credits include Anjan Dutt's Bow Barracks Forever, Kaushik Ganguly's Jackpot, Autograph and Hum Tum Dushman Dushman.

She later appeared in Hindi television programmes including Chidiya Ghar, Partners and Aap Ke Aa Jane Se. This gave her a career path spanning Bengali film and mainstream Hindi television rather than being limited to one regional format.

Sohini entered Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 during the 30 August 2026 grand premiere. Her launch-stage comments focused on carrying a famous family name while wanting to be recognised through her own choices and identity.

Her nominations, house days and final placement remain open while the live season continues.
