Monami Ghosh

Monami Ghosh is an established Bengali television and film actress and dancer from Basirhat, West Bengal. She began acting at a young age and built one of the longest-running television careers among the Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 housemates.

Her early television journey is associated with Saat Kahon, after which she appeared in a long list of Bengali serials. She became especially known for characters in Binni Dhaner Khoi, Punyi Pukur and Irabotir Chupkotha. Her career also expanded into films, with credits including Bela Seshe, Haami 2, Belashuru and Padatik, and she made her web-series debut with Mouchaak.

Dance has remained an important part of Monami's public identity alongside acting. Her Bigg Boss grand-premiere entry reflected that background: she entered with a Durga-themed performance, connecting her long screen career with Bengal's festive and cultural imagery.

Monami entered Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 on 30 August 2026 as the first contestant introduced on launch night. She entered directly as an established entertainment personality rather than through a pre-show selection route.
