Manikandan Thonnakkal

Manikandan Thonnakkal came to Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 from a career shaped by teaching, language and performance. A Malayalam teacher by profession, he has also worked as a voice artist, mimicry performer and television personality.

His interest in Malayalam literature and traditional performance also found an audience online. Through the YouTube channel Maniyan Speaking, he has created videos around language, literature, mythology and humour, while villadichan pattu and mimicry form part of his broader performance background.

Manikandan entered Season 4 on Day 20 as the first wildcard contestant. His stay was short because health issues forced him to leave the programme on Day 27.

He later returned during the closing-stage reunion with former contestants. Bigg Boss therefore became one chapter in a career that already crossed classrooms, digital media, television and traditional performance.
