Biography
Kashmera Shah is a celebrated Indian-American actress, model, and filmmaker born on December 2, 1971, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Growing up in a household with a rich artistic heritage, she is the granddaughter of the renowned Hindustani classical singer Anjanibai Lolekar. Her early background is marked by a blend of Maharashtrian and Gujarati cultures, and she pursued her higher education at the University of Mumbai. Before entering the film industry, she established herself as a successful model and beauty queen, earning prestigious titles such as Miss University World and Miss India Talent, which served as a springboard for her transition into acting.
Her professional acting career began in the mid-1990s, with her official Bollywood debut in the 1997 film Yes Boss, where she appeared alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
