Bigg Boss Hindi Season 1
Bigg Boss Hindi Season 1 premiered on 3 November 2006 with Arshad Warsi as host and established the Hindi edition of the Indian Bigg Boss franchise. The inaugural season concluded on 26 January 2007 with Rahul Roy as winner, Carol Gracias as runner-up and Ravi Kishan in third place.
Season Information
Bigg Boss Hindi Season 1 premiered on 3 November 2006 and introduced the Hindi-language edition of the Bigg Boss format, with Arshad Warsi as host and 15 celebrity housemates.
The inaugural season established the basic Hindi format of house tasks, nominations, public-vote eliminations and constant observation. Rakhi Sawant became one of the most visible contestants and later returned after an earlier eviction.
Salil Ankola left through removal rather than a standard public-vote eviction, adding an early example of how contestant exits could occur for reasons outside the normal weekly vote.
The finale took place on 26 January 2007. Rahul Roy won the first Hindi season, Carol Gracias finished as runner-up and Ravi Kishan placed third.
