Debojit Saha is a renowned Indian playback singer and live performer who gained national recognition as the winner of the Zee TV singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. Born on November 17, 1973, in Silchar, Assam, he was raised in a culturally rich environment that fostered his early interest in music. Before his rise to fame in the entertainment industry, Saha pursued a career in civil engineering, completing his studies at Silchar Polytechnic and working for the Public Works Department in his home state. Driven by a deep passion for music, he eventually decided to leave his engineering job and relocate to Mumbai in 2003 to chase his dreams, supported by his wife, Bandana Paul.

His breakthrough came in early 2006 when he was crowned the "Voice of India" after winning Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 under the mentorship of composer Ismail Darbar.
