Lakshmi Priya

Lakshmi Priya's acting career began on stage before expanding into Malayalam television and cinema. Her theatre work included the role of Hidumbi, while serials such as Indumukhi Chandramathi, Devi Mahatmyam and Seetha made her familiar to television viewers.

She moved into films in the mid-2000s and went on to appear in a long list of Malayalam productions, largely in supporting and character roles. Her credits include Naran, Lion, Bhagyadevatha, Molly Aunty Rocks!, 7th Day and Tiyaan.

Lakshmi entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 as an original contestant and remained until the finale. Her long stay placed her among the six finalists after nearly a hundred days of tasks, nominations and house politics.

She finished fourth and also received the season's Best Entertainer recognition during the finale. Outside acting and reality television, Lakshmi has also written about her life and experiences in Malayalam.
