Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 premiered on 5 October 2025 on Vijay Television, with streaming on JioHotstar and Vijay Sethupathi returning as host for a second consecutive season. Twenty contestants entered during the opening night, representing television, cinema, comedy, modelling and digital media.

During the fourth week, four wildcard contestants were introduced: Prajean Padmanabhan, Divya Ganesan, Amit Bhargav and Sandra Amy. Their arrival expanded the season to 24 unique contestants. Divya, who entered after the original cast, eventually went on to win the entire season.

The season also featured major disciplinary developments. Paaru Saran and Kamarudin Basha were removed from the competition in the later phase of the game. During the final stretch, Gana Vinoth accepted the ₹18 lakh cash-box offer and voluntarily left before the grand finale.

The final four were Divya Ganesan, Sabari Nathan, Vikram Vidyapathi and Aurora Sinclair. The grand finale aired on 18 January 2026. Divya Ganesan was crowned winner, Sabari Nathan finished as runner-up, Vikram Vidyapathi placed third and Aurora Sinclair fourth. Divya received a ₹50 lakh cash prize along with a Maruti Suzuki car.
