Nani, whose full name is Ghanta Naveen Babu, is an Indian actor, producer and television presenter associated mainly with Telugu cinema. Before becoming a lead actor, he worked behind the camera as an assistant director and also spent time as a radio jockey in Hyderabad. His acting debut came with Mohana Krishna Indraganti's Ashta Chamma in 2008.
His film career later included titles such as Ala Modalaindi, Pilla Zamindar, Eega, Jersey and Dasara, spanning romantic drama, comedy and performance-led roles. Film remains the main part of his public career, while Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2 is his principal reality-television hosting credit.
