Sangeetha Bhat

Sangeetha Bhat is an Indian actress and producer known primarily for Kannada television and cinema, with additional work in other South Indian industries. By the time she entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13, she had spent close to two decades working in entertainment.

Her early television credits include serials such as Panjaradha Gili, Bhagyavantharu and Chandrachakori. She later moved into feature films, with Preethi Geethi Ityaadi becoming an important early lead role. Her later film work includes Eradane Sala, Dayavittu Gamanisi, Kismath, Anuktha, Alidu Ulidavaru and Aadyaa.

Sangeetha has also worked as a producer through creative projects with her husband, actor Sudarshan Rangaprasad. Her career has therefore included television fiction, cinema and independent production rather than remaining in a single medium.

At the Season 13 premiere she spoke publicly about difficult experiences from her childhood and her later #MeToo-era struggles in the industry.
