Her interests extend beyond teaching and sport. Resmin has worked as an anchor, is interested in motorcycles and travel, and had appeared on Malayalam television before Bigg Boss through Udan Panam.
She was selected for Season 6 through the commoner route and stayed in the competition for 73 days. During that run she also won a captaincy task and served as House Captain.
