Prathama Prasad

Prathama Prasad is a Kannada actress, dancer, model and anchor who comes from an established entertainment family. She is the daughter of veteran actress Vinaya Prasad, but her own career has included acting, dance, television and performance work rather than relying only on that family connection.

Prathama has spoken openly about how being the daughter of a respected actress did not automatically translate into continuous opportunities. Around her Season 13 entry, she described facing more than 50 rejections while auditioning and trying to establish an independent identity in the industry.

She has a background in dance and screen performance and has worked across Kannada entertainment. Her Bigg Boss introduction placed particular emphasis on the gap between public assumptions about star-family privilege and the repeated rejection she says she experienced personally.

Prathama entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13 as a direct launch contestant on 6 September 2026. The reality show gives her a space to be seen outside scripted roles and outside the constant comparison with her mother's career.
